About Me
Alyssa | 20 | She/He/They
I am a young American artist from Ohio. Most of my work consists of illustrations, but I occasionally make paintings, sculptures, and animations as well. Most of my art is traditional, but I also work digitally. I'm currently in college and majoring in animation.
I don't have a DNI (do not interact) list. I'll just block anyone who sends me hate directly. I also don't wanna be associated with right-wingers, people with harmful paraphilias, or abusers of any kind.
Questions Nobody Asked
Q. How long have you been doing art for?
A. I've been doing art for my whole life. It's my biggest passion. My mom used to tell me that I picked up a pencil as soon as I learned how to walk. (Or something along those lines.)
Q. Why did you choose Neocities?
A. I've been wanting to make my own website to use as a portfolio for years. I've tried Weebly, Carrd, and even Listography, but I didn't care for them. I heard about Wix, but it's based in a certain ethnostate I hate, so I never tried it. I ended up choosing Neocities because it gives people total artistic freedom. I love seeing everyone's different styles and aesthetics when it comes to designing websites. Plus I'm tired of seeing all the social media apps screw over their userbases with all these pointless updates and unfriendly algorithms. It especially hurts us artists.
I was also born in 2004, so I missed out on the era where everyone had their own custom websites. I guess this is my way of hopping on an old trend.
Q. What projects are you working on?
A. I currently have two big ones.
My main project is Musa, the world where most of my characters live (including my mascot Power). I imagine it being a large, vibrant place where colorful monsters and anthropomorphic creatures live. This project was started in 2017.
My oldest project is Mixia, another world my characters live on. It's similar to Musa, except all the species there have their own unique magical powers. This project was started in 2016.
My biggest goal in life is to make animated shows based on the Musa characters and their lives. (Some episodic, others more story-driven.) As for Mixia, I like the idea of it being turned into an Animal Crossing-esque game where you interact with the characters and learn more about the world's lore through them. (Except I'm not a game designer so I highly doubt I'll get this far. But I can dream. XD)
Q. What are the target demographics for your projects?
A. My Musa and Mixia characters are aimed at teens and adults, but maybe some kids might like them.
Q. Where did your usernames come from?
A. I originally went by the name "Powerfulgirl10". I came up with that name back in 2013 while thinking of a Minecraft username. "Power T Queen" is the name I use nowadays, especially since it's more professional. I thought of it around 2017/2018. It was going to be "Power The Queen", but after watching SML (formerly SuperMarioLogan) and being inspired by their character "Brooklyn T Guy", I changed the "The" to "T". The T doesn't stand for anything.
Power T Queen is also the name of my pink wolf-like character.
Q. Are you a furry?
A. Hmm... Interesting question. :)
