You have found my little comic zone!

Comics are an art medium that I've always held an appreciation for. Being able to tell a simple story just with a few panels and speech bubbles is something that fascinates me. I used to make my own books and comics as a kid; usually out of construction or printer paper. I loved creating my own characters and coming up with weird stories for them! (Unfortunately most of the time my projects remained unfinished since I was a major procrastinator and kept moving on to new stories.) I'm still a storyteller at heart! However, my focus is now on animation.

I'm no professional! I just make comics on occasion as a fun hobby! My style of making comics comes from my knowledge of being an animation student. I also own a small comic/children's book collection just for the art! Some of my influences include Archie Comics, Simpsons Comics, Garfield, and Calvin & Hobbes.

Right now I'm currently focusing on making silly one-page comics based on the characters from my short film "JackAxo" (hence the theming)! After finishing that film, I got really attached to this world I set up, so I wanna expand on it more! I'm not in a position to produce more animations of them, so in the meantime I'm shifting to comics and other things! You can read more about the characters in my OC directory.
