Punchy

Punchy is a character from my third year short film "JackAxo"!

A pink axolotl who wears red boxing gloves and white shorts. His lower gills form a beard. He is the younger brother of Jaundice and the co-host of JackAxo. He is obnoxious, dimwitted, and tends to have anger problems. He dreams of becoming a professional boxer.

Facts

• His name comes from his boxing gloves and his love for boxing.
• I also named him after the Animal Crossing character.
• I considered the name "Slim". (His early concept design looked very different.)
• He is a play on the "YouTuber to pro-boxer" pipeline.
• He was specifically modeled after Jake Paul.
• I didn't intend for his design to look weirdly "human", but I think it's fitting.
• He prefers fighting old people to hide his lack of strength. :3
• He looks horrible without a "beard" and is very insecure about it.
