5/30/26 | I'm on summer break :)
Sorry for waiting until the end of the month to write a blog entry yet again. I just haven't been feeling it lately :\
Anyway... I completed 3 years of college! I'm only 1 year away from earning my BA in animation! I'm still trying to figure out my idea for my capstone film, but I'll begin working on it sometime this summer!
Speaking of film, I finished another animated short film last semester! I spent 4 months putting it together and a lot of love went into it. Heck, I still draw these characters in my free time. :D You can watch the trailer below:

Every year my college selects various student works to display around campus and anyone is allowed to come and give everything a look. One of their big events is the animation showcase, where the faculty come together and pick student films to be screened! MY FILM GOT SELECTED AND THE RECEPTION WAS GREAT ❤️❤️️ The entire audience was laughing basically the entire time, which is exactly what I was hoping for! It was honestly one of the best moments of my life and I wish I could relive it again. 🥲 I can't wait for y'all to see the full thing.

I've been on summer break for the past 2 weeks now, and honestly it's kinda boring. My roommate recently moved out, so now I live alone until August. As far as I'm aware, my friends and most of the students went back to their hometowns or are vacationing somewhere. It's peaceful having a whole place to myself, but I kinda miss being social.
also i completely fucked up my sleep schedule and I'm struggling to find a job in this damn job market. my student bus pass also expired so now i have to pay to use public transit. i love being poor :')
