10/28/25 | Stuff Happened

i can't come up with a better title

This blog might be a mess but there's a lot I wanna talk about lol

First, I wanna talk about that time RFK Jr. ruined my night. A few weeks ago he determined a new possible "cause" of autism. First it was vaccines, then Tylenol. This time it's CIRCUMCISION. I only had a few minutres of class left when I found out, and I was trying so hard to keep it together. Because what the actual fuck??? I don't know how they managed to come up with something SO STUPID (somehow even stupider than the other "causes"). Don't get me wrong, I'm against circumcision for babies, BUT NOT FOR THIS REASON. (For more context, he said that boys who get circumcised are more likely to develop autism because they take Tylenol as a painkiller. None of this is true, but whatever.) Also what does this mean for girls? (Rhetorical question. I already know that they don't acknowledge autistic girls. 😒)

After hearing this news I had to make fun of it. So I made a quick drawing of one of my OCs. I know the implications are crazy, but I swear this isn't canon (or is it? it could be. doesn't matter)

Btw I shared a post about this on Facebook, and some of my mutuals laughed at it or shared things about their sons' bodies that are none of my business... My night officially ended there.

That night the topic of circumcision somehow infiltrated my dreams. I just wanna have normal dreams man 😔

I went to the Columbus Zoo that morning for a gesture drawing class, so that made up for everything that happened. Maybe I'll write a separate blog about that at some point.

Second, over the weekend the Cincinnati Bengals played against the New York Jets. I'm not an avid follower of sports, but I was raised in a Bengals-loving household, so I feel obligated to root for them. Well, they've been doing pretty bad this season. (Joe Burrow got hurt, and their coach needs to be fired.) THEY LOST TO THE JETS. BY. ONE. POINT. The same Jets that had all losses up until this point. If you really think about it, it's hilarious. But as a Bengals fan this is just sad. I'm glad that Jets fans finally have something to be happy about.

Third, today my professor saw some drawings I was working on in my personal sketchbook. So I let her flip through it. It went well. :)

She saw my Chicken Little fanart and it turns out she hates that movie lmao (Valid though. It's not a good movie.) Most of the stuff in my sketchbook is pretty bright and cute, but then there's also weird shit like the above drawing and Hulk Hogan burning in hell. She was ok with it, but it still felt kinda awkward. :3

Last, Hazbin Hotel season 2 comes out tomorrow and I'm gonna subject myself to it (as if I haven't suffered enough). I don't know what to expect, but hopefully it's not as bad as the first season.

Anyway that's all I wanted to talk about this evening. Why are my blogs always so weird 😭

10/16/25 | Furry Wheel of Discourse

I'm bored and my Twitter feed recycles the same furry discourse every month, so I feel like giving my own personal thoughts about each topic on the wheel. (It's literally just people getting mad at things that don't affect them. 🙃)

Fair warning that some of these topics are pretty "adult", so young people look away.

Babyfurs: I personally like the aesthetic and I find it cute. (Nostalgic themes mixed with animal characters definitely suits my vibe!) Honestly, I don't have an issue with the sexual side either. I did research and found that it has NOTHING to do with liking actual children. It's only between consenting adults. Some people just like pretending to be a baby and shitting themselves for fun. Sure it's weird, but who cares?

Pup Hoods: I think they're cool tbh. I can see why people find them ugly, but I think they can be cute. I actually got a cheap one from Amazon for pride this year. :)

Poodling: I really don't understand why poodling is such an issue (or why Anthrocon banned it from their parade this year). This isn't Disney. Who cares about "breaking the magic"? Not everyone can afford full suits or wear them due to disability reasons, and it's hot outside. Plus I think poodling can really suit someone's fashion style.

Murrsuits: So this basically means having naughty time while wearing fursuits. I personally could never let myself use an expensive work of art for that purpose, but I don't care if other people do it.

Furries Over 30: Now this one I REALLY don't get, and I'm 21 years old. You don't magically grow out of your hobbies/interests when you hit a certain age. Plus, older people basically run the conventions and they were here first, so. I support my fellow greymuzzles. :3

Closed Species: I actually used to really be into closed species during my days on DeviantArt as a teenager. (My most favorites were Bagbeans and Strudels.) I kinda grew out of that interest over time. There was a lot of petty drama within the communities (especially when it comes to gatekeeping certain design elements), and I didn't wanna spend hundreds of dollars on a dog with cool features if I could just design one myself. Kinda reminds me of NFTs lmao.

Therians: I'm not one myself, but I don't have a problem with them existing lol. I also like their masks and I think the quadrobics stuff is VERY impressive.

Feral Art: Oh boy. I don't really like it tbh, especially if it's of a character that looks and thinks like a realistic animal. I don't think liking/creating feral art automatically makes someone a zoo though, since anthropomorphic 4-legged characters DO exist.

And that concludes my rambling. These are just my personal opinions. Feel free to disagree of course. Just don't send me hate over shit that literally hurts no one.
